Commuter Transport System CTS

An ATM that instead of dispensing money, dispenses transport.

Commuter Transport System is:

In the future when fuel or gas are no longer used by cars as they are self supporting power units or when governments need to make a portion for road taxes, CTS will become the norm.

An individuals cash card or credit card is the key to unlock the door of the car, it will then dial into your bank to check available funds. A voice will come over the speaker. Please select your desired destination. A destination is entered on the GPS. If one does not have sufficient available funds, the voice will say " you only have enough to travel 5km.

As you travel, the CTS (Commuter Transport System) automatically deducts the money from your account. It then automatically splits the revenue between all the stakeholders.

For the first time in history, everyone does not need to own a car but can always have one available just for the time that is required.

Cellular technology is used to manage the commuters needs.

With this type of technology it opens the door to a "pay as you go" system to owning a car.  Example: If one does 500km per week, you will get a free car, all it will cost you is $4.95 per mile.  Not actual figures.

The Pay as you Go way of having transport can also be used in a city or town where the cars are available as self service taxis or cabs.

Available at depot's, you could use the Windcatcher website with maps to plan your trip in the city and pre-book a car for the use of the day.  You could just buy vouchers that give you a certain amount of mileage. You could lease or buy the car and only use it when and needed using vouchers.

The possibilities are endless.
