I have a Bubble Dragon called Sixpence

He is the cutest thing

He has patches on his body

And around one eye a ring

His ears are really floppy

I wonder how he hears

If I fall he bounds right over

And licks away my tears

He is my best friend

He even chews my shoes

I love sitting after school

And telling him my news

He lays down next to me

And flops open a big fluffy ear

This is the only time

I know that he can hear.
