Mommy had to go into town today, she had some bills she needed to pay.  Mommy said I could bake while she was out, this made me so happy I wanted to shout.

The bubble dragons arrived they did not need to be invited, they had overheard mommy and were delighted. Chocolate cake sounds good – what do you say?  Bubble dragons should we bake a cake today?

They were blowing bubbles down at me, there were so many I could hardly see!

I squinted my eyes looking for the pantry door, there were so many bubbles I slipped on the floor!  I sat there giggling merrily, while bubbles burst all over me!

I fetched all the things I thought we would need, I found the recipe for them to read.  Chocolate cake is such fun to do and sticky fingers taste good too.

We will still need to fetch a few things, I told them as they blew bubbles like rings.  I got out the bowl and a spoon, I told them we would have chocolate cake really soon.

When everything had been added and the mixture was done, I popped the pan into the oven on 181.

As I turned around what I saw made me yelp,  the  bubble dragons were no longer being much help.  They were busy throwing flour all around, they had thrown so much it covered the ground!  They had spilt the milk all over the floor, the puddle was so huge it reached the door.  The eggs were all spinning and rolling around, they began breaking as they hit the ground.

I picked up some flour and tossed it into the air,  now there was flour everywhere.  I felt really happy and began to chuckle, I licked some chocolate off my knuckle.

Then all of a sudden the oven went ping, there was flour on everything.  I walked to the oven, my shoes went crunch, we would have to clean up this mess before lunch.  We still have to clean up all this flour, mommy will be home in less than an hour.

Now, now you don’t need to worry about that, excuse us for a moment we need to chat.  They were chattering away quietly, I wondered how they planned to help me.  They blew a bubble I watched it grow, it didn’t grow fast, it grew really slow.  It got so big it filled the room, I was so surprised I tripped on the broom.

Within seconds the whole kitchen was clean, I sat there amazed at what I had seen.  Everything was cleaned up and packed away, now we would still have enough time to play.

Mommy was coming down the street, we had saved her a big piece of cake as a treat.  The bubble dragons had to go, they had eaten so much they swayed to and fro.  I giggled as I waved goodbye, they were so round all they could do was sigh.  I watched as they waddled off towards the wood, it looked really funny from where I stood!

I love the bubble dragons and all the things they do – maybe you will meet them one day too!
